Matariki feast :)
Today we made some yummy vegetable soup to celebrate the end of Matariki. Well done to all the tamariki (and parents!) for peeling and chopping all the vegetables!

Measuring fun with Miss Seager
Today with Miss Seager we used lots of different measuring tools to measure objects around the room. We liked measuring how long people were!

Today we played scatter ball. We had to throw three tennis balls and then see how many runs we could get before the fielders returned the balls to the hoop,

Making a bird feeder
Today we made a bird feeder. We talked about how the birds are hungry during the winter. The plants and insects have a rest during winter so there is not a lot of seeds and bugs for the birds to eat. We followed instructions of how to make and labelled a diagram of the bird feeder.
