Did you know that plants breath ! They do from their stomata. We learnt that plants breath by suckling water up by their roots and then it turns into oxygen. That comes up and out the stomata as oxygen.

Our friends from Japan.

We had some special visitors from Japan come to Haputapu School today.  They were kept very busy making orgami creations and writing people's names in Japanese - which looks very different to how we write words!

Making and breaking words...

Today some people  from Mrs Hoebergen's reading group made some words using magnetic letters.  They then added an ending or changed the beginning or end sound.  Angus made a crazy word by putting all sorts of letters together!
